Harnessing Coconut Potential for Offsetting Carbon Emissions: Integrating Science and Economy for A Sustainable Future

Objectives

  1. Highlight the potential of coconut plants as a valuable resource for carbon sequestration and its relation to climate change,

  2. promote and encourage further scientific research and practical initiatives focused on utilizing coconut plants as effective alternative for carbon sequestration,

  3. explore the mechanisms of carbon credit, including the potential benefit to Member Countries, and

  4. establish a network and collaboration of organizations, universities, policymakers, and experts devoted to promoting the use of coconut plants for carbon sequestration.
